    Philosophy

Here at Louise Agnes architect’s office, we believe in a collaborative process. We greatly value our relationships with our clients and take pride in the journey we take part in to create the home of their dreams. The journey is always a satisfying one and doesn't end until the desired result is achieved and ready to be realized.

Beyond this simple philosophy, is an overview of the process taken to realize each project. Its intentions are clear, to help you gain a better understanding of who we are, what we do, and assist you in determining if you want us to be the ones to help you build the home of your dreams.

    The Process

Every home, site, and space has its own distinct characteristics. With this in mind, every project is unique in its own way but the process for each remains the same.

Each project begins with an introductory meeting between the client and the architect. Project objectives are discussed and the zoning of the property is reviewed. Project fees and timing will then be fully discussed between both parties. Having full understanding of what is expected, we then make an agreement that the project can begin.

The staff at the office then visits the site and fully documents all of the existing conditions through accurate measuring and photographs. From there, the existing conditions are brought into the computer. Drawings are produced using CAD based software. These drawings act as the foundation of any renovation, serving as guidelines for future aspirations. With these, the architect and the client are able to gain a clear understanding of what is truly feasible on the site, by code, and within the desired budget.

After this takes place, more sketching and designing occurs. Through numerous meetings, the designs are revised and checked for approval by the client. It is only when the client agrees that they "love" the designs the way they are and wish for no further changes do we bring the designing process to an end.

When all of these steps are accomplished, the working drawings (technical drawings for building permits, etc) are generated. To complete all of this and construct the home of your dreams is quite the feeling. Let us be the ones to design and help you realize the home you have always wanted.
